Today, December 3 is Giving Tuesday. Since its inaugural year in 2012, #GivingTuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy.
SCEA is a volunteer-based organization that does not currently charge membership dues. In 2019, the SCEA Board worked towards increasing membership, hosting our first SCEA Town Hall, an evaluation learning circle, and two happy hours, engaging with the evaluation community on our website, Twitter, and LinkedIn group, and collaborating with other institutions and AEA Local Affiliates.
On #GivingTuesday, please consider making a donation today to help SCEA bring high quality programming to the local evaluation community in Southern California.

SCEA requests resources to support:
- Wild Apricot “Community” level subscription — $90/month
- Website domain name — $8/month
- Fees to register as a non-profit organization — $400 one-time
- SCEA member events in 2020 — $2,000 annually
At this time, SCEA is not a registered non-profit organization. Donations are not tax-deductible yet. We hope to pursue non-profit status in 2020 to provide this option, among many other benefits. If you have any questions, please contact us at scea.us.info@gmail.com.
